Connect Mac To Pc With Crossover Cable
Nov 25, 2009 It's a straight connect but I was trying it with a regular Ethernet cable. Is there a way to do it through my Airport (to obviate the need for buying a new cable)? (The PC is on the network wirelessly, while the Mac Pro is wired into the Airport don't have a wireless card in that one).

- Is it ok to use a crossover ethernet cable to connect a Mac (Powerbook G4) to a PC (unknown CPU, probably a few years old or older.)? Let me know if you need more info. I won't know more info about the PC until I see it this weekend, 7/5/08. And where on the PC do I find the technical info I need so I can find it on the Mac with the network.
