Disable Mixxx Song Title
How to disable song title announcement (self.amazonecho) submitted 15 hours ago by CthuluFhtagn My Echo announces in a lengthy sentence every time I ask it to paly any song e.g. 'Alexa play shape of you' 'Playing Shape of you by Ed Shereen from Your music library.' I have done some changes, which makes auto DJ useful for manual control. Manually to a deck loaded song is played by auto DJ. Additional 'Skip Next' Button. Auto DJ did not change the 'Repeat' Button any more. 'Repeat' works as desired (it temporary disables auto DJ). Lock fading of the two decks against each other, plus some other possible exceptions. Enabling auto DJ always starts. Can i send garageband song from phone to ipad pro. May 20, 2009 Is there a setting to disable the feature wherein VLC automatically displays the current song-name in the program's title-bar? This might not even fix my problem but I was hoping there was an easy way to try it.
Setting this to 0 will disable attempts for the relay to reconnect. Relayconnectretries: Specify the number of times relays are attempted to be connected to if it is initially unable to connect Default = 3 This generally applies only to YP1 connections and is related to the actual attempts to make and get a http response from the YP server. I would recommend writing in your DJ name and the club you are spinning at. An example would be “Cygnostik at Decker Lab”.
The goal:To drop (load) a lot of songs to the software. Then the software organize (sort) the songs by their beat/tempo, then play all the songs with auto mixing, without human intervention.
1. Currently, the 'Auto DJ' is not the main feature, and it supports only a 'queue' method, which songs are removed (or re-queue) after playback.
I expected for a 'Playlist' method, which works similiar to an Audio Player such Window Media Player. The list of songs is fixed, and when moving to the next song, only a highlighting is moving.
2. Therefore, I would change the 'Auto DJ' title to 'Queue'. And would copy and bring the Buttons Bar of 'Auto DJ', also to Tracks and Playlists.
In this way, we get a 'Queue' method, and a 'Playlist' method.
When clicking on a Playlist, We will get a songs list working like an audio Player, but we will also be able to press 'Fade Now' to mix to the next song.
ENABLE AUTO DJ means moving to the next song with fading/mixing.
DISABLE AUTO DJ means moving to the next song without fading/mixing (normal Audio-Player behaviour).
3. After pressing FADE NOW, the crossfader is moving automatically. But then when the user try to catch it and to set it manually, he can't. It shouldn't be like that.
The auto-move of the crossfader should be canceled if the user touch the crossfader.

4. Add a 'horizontal line' when the user wants to drag a song and change its position in the list.5. Home and End keyboard keys in the list.
I'm used to have Home for getting the top of the list, and End for getting the bottom of the list (inspired by Windows Explorer and more apps), rather than getting the beginning/end of a line.
6. 'Auto DJ' - I couldn't sort the list by clicking headers.Hi all,
I'm currently mapping the Roland DJ-202 and after some initial difficulties with the js and xml files it's working fine so far and I figure most of it will just need a bit of time and experimenting.
But there are three problems for which I don't see a solution yet:
1. The DJ-202 does not respond to the Serato SysEx message to get the initial state
2. The in-built sequencer can be synced to the song playing in Serato. This is crucial to actually use the sequencer in live sitations. Is there a standard way for MIDI devices to beat-sync and can this be done with Mixxx?
3. I couldn't figure how to address some of the LEDs.
I thought about intercepting the communictaion with Serato, but unfortunately the DJ-202 doesn't use MIDI for Serato. It's still worth a try, though.
The second possibility is to ask Roland about the MIDI specs. I didn't find any document about this on their page. Does anybody know how well companies usually respond to these kind of requests and where it's best to direct them?
